Episode SummaryIn this encouraging episode of The Living Transformed Podcast, Caroline sits down with wellness entrepreneur and founder of Season Planners, Georgia Stockton, to talk about what it looks like to trust God through seasons of uncertainty, preparation, and growth.
As part of the Season 5 theme ASCEND, this conversation explores how the quiet, hidden seasons of life are often the very places where God is building the character, resilience, and faith needed for what comes next. Georgia shares her journey from growing up in a small-town, faith-centered family to playing collegiate basketball, working in the group fitness industry, and eventually stepping into entrepreneurship.

Through stories of isolation during college, lessons learned from sports, and the challenges of launching a new business, Georgia shares how hard seasons can shape endurance, humility, and courage.
They also talk about the power of consistency, the importance of guarding your mindset, and why fear of imperfection often keeps people from pursuing what God has placed on their hearts. Georgia encourages listeners to stop waiting for the perfect moment and instead take the next faithful step.
This episode is a reminder that hidden seasons are not wasted seasons. Episode Summary
In this encouraging episode of The Living Transformed Podcast, Caroline sits down with licensed professional counselor Candace Couch to talk about one of the most common barriers women face in their journey of growth: anxiety.
As part of the Season 5 theme ASCEND, this conversation explores how emotional healing is not separate from spiritual growth — it is part of the ascent. Candace brings both clinical wisdom and compassionate insight as she explains how anxiety develops, why it has become increasingly common in both children and adults, and how women can begin to move forward instead of remaining stuck in cycles of stress and overwhelm.
Caroline and Candace discuss how our thoughts shape our emotions and behaviors, how family dynamics influence the way we interpret the world, and why awareness is often the first step toward meaningful transformation. They also explore how faith and counseling beautifully complement one another, offering both practical tools and biblical encouragement for navigating anxious seasons.
Candace shares three simple but powerful tools that anyone can begin practicing today to calm the nervous system, regulate emotions, and reclaim control over anxious thinking. Together, they remind listeners that anxiety may be present in our lives, but it does not define us or determine our future.
This episode offers encouragement, practical wisdom, and a powerful reminder: anxiety does not disqualify you from rising — healing is part of the ascent.
What to Expect in This Episode
Understanding why anxiety has become more common in today’s culture
How family systems shape the way we think, feel, and respond
The connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors
Why emotional awareness is the first step toward transformation
Signs parents should watch for when children are experiencing anxiety
How strengthening family communication can reduce anxiety at home
Why high-functioning women often struggle with anxiety
The difference between everyday stress and clinical anxiety
How shame and isolation keep people stuck in anxious patterns
Three practical tools for calming anxiety in real time
How marriage conflict is often rooted in defensiveness and unmet expectations
The impact of family of origin dynamics on adult relationships
Why emotional maturity requires accepting both strengths and weaknesses
How faith and counseling work together in the healing process
Encouragement for women who feel overwhelmed or alone in their struggles
Key Takeaways
Anxiety often follows predictable patterns and can be addressed with awareness and practical tools.
Our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors more than we often realize.
Emotional maturity comes from accepting weaknesses rather than defending them.
Family systems and childhood experiences shape how we see the world.
Healing often begins with simply naming what we are experiencing.
You are not alone — many women are thinking the same anxious thoughts.
Faith and counseling work together to support emotional and spiritual health.
Scripture Anchors
Philippians 3:14 — “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”2 Corinthians 10:5 — “Take every thought captive to obey Christ.”Matthew 7:5 — “First take the plank out of your own eye…”Psalm 139:14 — “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Three Tools for Rising Above Anxiety
1. Progressive Muscle Relaxation — Calming the Body
Anxiety often begins in the body before it reaches our thoughts. Slowly relaxing each muscle group from head to toe teaches the brain that it is safe and not in immediate danger.
2. Intentional Breathing — Slowing the Nervous System
Slow, controlled breathing signals the brain to move out of emergency mode and return to calm, thoughtful processing.
3. Think About What You're Thinking About — Renewing the Mind
Once the body is calm, we can examine our thoughts. Identifying anxious or distorted thinking allows us to replace it with truth.
Resources Mentioned
True to You — Kathleen SmithThe Gift of Being Yourself — David BennerThe Freedom of Self-Forgetfulness — Tim Keller
Final Encouragement
Anxiety is something many people experience, but it does not have to control your life.
Healing often begins with slowing down, becoming aware of what is happening beneath the surface, and allowing yourself to receive support. Whether that support comes through counseling, trusted friendships, or time with the Lord, freedom is possible.
You are not alone in what you are facing. Growth, healing, and emotional maturity are all part of the journey of becoming who God created you to be.

In this empowering episode of The Living Transformed Podcast, Caroline sits down with Kelly Poole, a licensed Physical Therapist and Pelvic Floor Specialist with over 20 years of experience and the founder of Athens Pelvic Physical Therapy and Wellness. Kelly specializes in women’s pelvic health, from young adults to postpartum moms to women navigating perimenopause and beyond. Her heart for helping women live free, confident, and whole lives is evident in every word she shares.

Kelly explains what pelvic PT actually is, what to expect at an appointment, and why knowledge, breath work, alignment, and compassion are key to healing.
